The Blue Ridge Chapter PRSA’s Past Presidents Council is pleased to present our next “Evening With…” on Tuesday, Sept. 24 featuring Judy Phair, APR, Fellow PRSA, and Roland King, APR, Fellow PRSA. Judy and Roland are seasoned public relations executives with extensive higher education experience.

Judy led PRSA nationally as president in 2005, is past chair of its prestigious College of Fellows and a recipient of PRSA’s Gold Anvil, our society’s highest individual award, for her work to advance the profession. Roland most recently served as Vice President for Public Affairs at the National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities (NAICU) in Washington, D.C., for 15 years, before retiring in 2013. The evening begins with cocktails at 5:30, followed by an exquisitely prepared four-course dinner and Judy and Roland’s remarks, all amidst the quiet elegance of the historic Shenandoah Club, where our region’s leaders in business, industry and the professions have gathered since 1893. The Club provides the perfect setting for this upscale event.

Our “Evening With…” distinguished speakers series features legendary figures in public relations and provides an opportunity to learn and interact with senior colleagues in a more relaxed setting.
