A good story is at the core of the human experience and every good website design. It's also the core of every brand communication—from pitches to crisis communications. What you say—and how you say it—on your website can establish trust and confidence or result in your pitches falling flat.

About the event
In 2024, every PR practitioner needs to know how to craft a beautiful narrative that humans – not robots – want to read with a strong technical foundation that’s easy to scan, understand, and interact with. Even if your pitches start with an email or phone call, your website presence will solidify your messaging as valuable or just as easily can send users scrambling because of a poor interface or user experience. Every PR strategy should include UX writing and storytelling. In this session, you'll learn to combine the narrative abilities rooted in PR with online user experience best practices and techniques to become the ultimate online storyteller. You will learn: · Why user experience is vital to PR success · How to marry public relations and online content creation · Best practices for creating a stellar story framework for every page on your website · How to write microcopy that people will want to interact and take storytelling to the next level · When to connect interface design elements to the narrative for a cohesive user experience
