PRSA Blue Ridge is excited to welcome all members, former members, and friends back for our first in person meeting in nearly two years.

At Noon, Friday, April 22, please join us at the Shenandoah Club, 24 Franklin Road SW, Roanoke VA 24011 for

“Creatives Change the World: Placemaking and DEI in complex (and sometimes contentious) environments.”

Chris Morrill, Executive Director of the Government Finance Officers Association, and former Roanoke City Manager, will share a case study about his 2021 “End the Acronym” campaign which is a current finalist for the 2022 Silver Anvils which will be held next month in New York City.

Chris will share the importance of professional communications from his executive leadership position and also speak about the critically important role creatives play in placemaking and community building nationwide.
