Get Social With It!
Luncheon - June 9 at 12:00pm
Deschutes 2 Roanoke @PRSA
So, how do you get an Oregon-based company to choose Roanoke as its new home? Michael Galliher created the Deschutes 2 Roanoke social media campaign to help successfully lure the Oregon-based brewing company to Roanoke for its East Coast operation. What started as an online rallying cry to attract a high-profile business to Roanoke became a powerful campaign with more than 6,200 Facebook likes alone. Michael will outline the campaign (starting with an op-ed he wrote bemoaning the lack of economic opportunities in the Roanoke Valley), the impact of social media and how to get noticed in the ever-crowded space of social media. Presented by ndp.
